PiacenzAssapora il tortello in barrique and the formula for excellence in Piacenza

Triplozero inaugurates the Piac(eccell)enza project and demonstrates how to create a system which can become the key to better promotion of territorial excellence.

Over twenty companies, including some of the best companies in the territory, more than two hundred participants and approximately 5000 Euros raised for charity, for the preparation of Caritas Food Packages. This is the grand sum of the PiacenzAssapora event, the first on the Piac(eccell)enza schedule, the System for Excellence in Piacenza.

A debut of the enological and gastronomic treasures of the city and province, conceived and organized by DRGComunicazione with Molino Dallagiovanna, which offered its Special Flours, including Triplozero, the heart of Tortello in barrique, the star of the evening.

Tradition and innovation "from our house”, with a selection of the best products at km 0, reinterpreted by Maestro Raimondo Mendolia, Dallagiovanna testimonial and "extreme creative force”, who with his staff of young local chefs demonstrated the perfect symphony of flavors from out territory, presenting several icons of Piacenza traditional cuisine with unique combinations.

It is in this context that wine, certainly one of the stars of our traditional cuisine, joins to blend with the flavors of once upon a time and tinges everything smoky purple - Gutturnio i tortelli con la coda – in other words, in barrique – Ortrugo softens the chisolino with a dressing and interrupts the usual béchamel in lasagna with mushrooms and zucchini. And finally, DOP cold cuts, meats, fruit and vegetables from our valleys, ricotta and cheeses from our hills and water from the natural springs in our mountains.

A culture of tradition and new discoveries, telling the story of our history, the picture of our present and giving glimpses of our future, also in light of the Milan expo in 2015.
