Molino Dallagiovanna and the Gran Trofeo d'Oro

Mise en place, cheeses, sommelier, cuisine and gastronomic culture: these were the diverse sections of this cooking contest participated in by hotel and cooking schools from Italy and Europe. The event takes place every year, with this year’s theme being the Mediterranean Diet. 

Paolo Massobrio (Club Papillon), Maestro Iginio Massari, Vittorio Santoro (CASTAlimenti) and Andrea Sinigaglia (ALMA) proclaimed the winner, the team from Cavallotti di Città di Castello, Perugia. They were also awarded the prestigious medal of the President of the Republic. In second place, the team from Carlo Porta in Milano, followed by the institute of Tourism Studies of St. Julians, Malta.

Now the “Gran Trofeo d’Oro of… Italian Cuisine” is opening, a contest that involves consumers and enthusiasts in a fun cooking challenge, based on a theme of Brescia cuisine and typical products of the area. For further information, visit www.grantrofeodoro2012.it.
